Morocco and France restore judicial cooperation, ending long running spat
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}France and Morocco have announced that they have ended a long running spat by restoring judicial cooperation severed nearly a year earlier.
The restoration of judicial cooperation follows meetings between the justice ministers of the two countries Saturday,and allows them to cooperate on legal matters.
Morocco ended legal ties with its former colonial master in February 2014 after police attempted to arrest the visiting Moroccan intelligence chief, the target of a suit filed by activists accusing him of torture.
