Merry Christmas from Afghanistan: US troops celebrate at Bagram Air Field

American soldiers in Afghanistan celebrated Christmas Day at Bagram Air Field on Friday.

Troops enjoyed a special Christmas meal at the airbase, away from their families and loved ones.

"It is kind of sad because I am not with my family at this time, but I have a job I have to do, so it is sacrifice I have to make," said soldier Adonis Jimenez.

Bagram is one of the main US military bases in Afghanistan, where US soldiers serving with NATO forces are based.
