Mapuche Indians Clash with Chilean Police

The Mapuche protesters hurled rocks and one fired a gun during the protest.
Police used tear gas against the protesters, who covered their faces as they blocked a highway in the southern region of Araucania.

Police say a group of men on Friday stopped two trucks in the nearby province of Arauco.
Police say the men ordered the drivers to get out and set fire to the trucks, which were carrying wood.
