According to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, a jury has convicted Isidro Medrano Garcia Friday on three felony counts of lewd acts on a minor – a statement from the DA’s office reported.

Garcia, 42, was accused of sexually assaulting his girlfriend’s 15-year-old daughter for a decade. He was found not guilty of one felony count of kidnapping to commit sexual office and one felony count of forcible rape.

The unidentified victim testified in a Fullerton, California, courtroom that she met Garcia in February 2004, when he lived with her at her mother’s home in Santa Ana.

Following an alleged domestic violence incident between Garcia and the victim’s mother in 2004, Garcia kidnapped the victim. She told the jury she was held against her will and given a false identify.

The two lived in Compton, a neighborhood in South Los Angeles.

In 2010, the teen became pregnant with Garcia’s baby. She gave birth to a daughter. The child is currently in the victim’s custody.

In 2014 the victim contacted her sister through Facebook. After connecting with family, she went to police in Santa Ana to report Garcia.
