A 17-year-old Iraqi has been arrested in Germany after allegedly contacting senior members of the Islamic State group.
Prosecutors in Frankfurt say the teen was detained Tuesday in the central German town of Eschwege.
German daily Bild reported Friday that the Iraqi, who came to Germany in 2015 as a refugee, was suspected of preparing an attack, and allegedly obtained instructions for building an explosive device using a remote-controlled car.
