French President Francois Hollande and British Prime Minister David Cameron will discuss the crisis in Egypt in a telephone call at 1630 GMT on Friday, Hollande's office told AFP.

The talks will come after similar discussions between Hollande and German Chancellor Angela Merkel due at 1200 GMT, after the French leader on Thursday warned of the threat of "civil war" in Egypt.
