French President Francois Hollande has arrived in Britain for a meeting with his U.K. counterpart, Prime Minister David Cameron, at England's Brize Norton air base.

The one-day summit is expected to cover military cooperation, including talks over armed drones, anti-ship missiles, and underwater mine detectors, as well as a joint Franco-British force of 10,000 soldiers due to be formed in the next few years.

But Hollande is as likely to face questions about love as war.

Britain's scandal-hungry press has gleefully covered every twist of the French leader's tangled personal life. Journalists here have been counting down the days until they get to ask Hollande about the end of his relationship with longtime girlfriend Valerie Trierweiler — and the woman reported to be his new flame, actress Julie Gayet.
