BANGKOK – A large fire has collapsed part of the roof at a Bangkok's movie theater complex but caused no serious injuries.
The fire started Thursday morning at one of the cinemas in the Major Cineplex Pinklao, owned by Thailand's largest operator of movie theaters, the Major Cineplex Group. The fire reportedly started on the third floor of the seven-story shopping and theater complex, but its cause was not immediately clear.
Members of Bangkok's Emergency Medical Services said a firefighter and another man were treated for slight injuries.
The building is in Thonburi, across the Chao Phraya River from Bangkok proper.
