ATHENS, Greece – Greek rescue teams are searching for three people reported missing after a cargo ship sank off the southern island of Crete.
A Merchant Marine Ministry statement says four other crew members were rescued by a merchant vessel in the area, some 50 kilometers (30 miles) west of Crete.
The ministry said the ship that foundered Thursday was Togo-flagged, but did not provide its name, destination or nationalities of the crew.
