A silver-painted street mime who walloped a rival performer over the head in front of throngs of tourists has been sentenced to four-and-a-half years in jail.
Police say 37-year-old Dechko Ivanov -- who worked as a silent "living statue" -- got into a very vocal argument with another man about performing spots near the London Eye, a giant Ferris wheel.
Police described Ivanov as "wearing a silver outfit with a crown" and carrying a staff. The victim wore a long silver jacket and a pointed hat.

Ivanov "struck the victim with a drawstring bag containing two bricks" as tourists and passers-by looked on.
The victim suffered a fractured skull in the attack last June. Police said Monday that he had made a good recovery.
Ivanov, a Bulgarian national, was sentenced Friday at Inner London Crown Court.
