SAO PAULO – A Brazilian technical college is drawing criticism for including a pornographic cartoon in an entrance examination taken by 15,000 high school-age students.
The cartoon accompanied a question that asked the youths to analyze advertising that promotes products through misleading messages.
The cartoon depicts three women performing oral sex on a man in a supposed deodorant ad. The caption reads: "If you use the right deodorant you will be attacked on the streets."
The entrance examination was administered at the Federal Institute in Espirito Santo state.
School spokeswoman Astrid Malacarne says professors who created the test didn't consider the cartoon pornographic. She says school officials are investigating.
