Multiple car bombs killed at least 21 people in Baghdad Monday, according to a Reuters report citing Iraqi police.
U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki Moon was visiting the Iraqi capital when the violence occurred.

The deadliest attack was in the mainly Shi'ite district of Shaab in eastern Baghdad, where a car bomb blast damaged a commercial area, killing 11 people and wounding 28.
