A storm system moving across the Plains will bring widespread showers and thunderstorms with the risk of severe weather and flooding over the Mississippi Valley and Central Gulf Coast.

An active weekend for parts of Northern California and the Northwest with more rain and mountain snow moving into the Central and Northern Rockies.

The Central U.S. will warm up today and tomorrow with highs 10-20 degrees above average and we’ll feel warmer air moving into the East Coast this weekend.
