Wisconsin school officials investigate offensive taunts

A Wisconsin school district says it's investigating racist taunts directed at female high school soccer players during a recent game.

Beloit Memorial coach Brian Denu says a small group of Elkhorn students taunted minority players from Beloit with racial slurs and chants such as "Donald Trump, build that wall."

Denu tells WISC-TV (http://bit.ly/1S3cotT ) that the insults caused some of his players to leave the game last Thursday night. He says it may have come from a small number of students, but it made a big impact.

Elkhorn district administrator Jason Tadlock says officials have confirmed some students on the sidelines were yelling offensive comments and that the matter is being investigated.

Students in Indiana and Iowa have recently been admonished for making similar derogatory Trump chants at high school games.
