WikiLeaks: Kadzik Fed Clinton Camp Info on FBI Investigation

An email released by WikiLeaks on Wednesday reveals that Peter Kadzik, the Justice Department official in charge of keeping congress updated on the reopened Clinton investigation and coordinating with the FBI, fed the Clinton campaign sensitive information about the initial investigation.

It has already been revealed in the past week that Kadzik is a close friend and confidant of Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta -- and even kept the top Clinton henchman "out of jail" -- and that he lobbied on behalf of disgraced criminal hedge fund manager Marc Rich. Now the man tasked with keeping Congress abreast of the investigation is revealed to have been just as concerned with keeping Clinton's political aides in the loop.

"There is a HJC oversight hearing today where the head of our Civil Division will testify," Kadzik wrote Podesta in a May 2015 email with the subject line "Heads Up."

"Another filing in the FOIA case went in last night or will go in this am that indicates it will be awhile (2016) before the State Department posts the emails."

After receiving the email, Podesta forwarded it on to other members of Clinton's inner circle, including communications director Jennifer Palmieri and longtime Clinton confidante Cheryl Mills.

The stunning revelation indicates the Justice Department was actively engaged in helping the Clinton campaign navigate its candidate's criminal investigation, likely subverting the efforts of law enforcement investigators.

"We assure you that the Department will continue to work closely with the FBI and together, dedicate all necessary resources and take appropriate steps as expeditiously as possible," Kadzik wrote to congress on Monday.
