A Northern Virginia restaurant owner giving gun owners a 15 percent discount on their bills in an attempt to promote his business as a gun-friendly establishment.
Brian Crosswhite, owner of The Cajun Experience in Leesburg, is hosting weekly 'open carry' discount nights for patrons with concealed handgun permits, WJLA.com reports.
"Why can't I promote my business as a gun-friendly place that people come in and are law-abiding citizens who chose to participate in the second amendment," Crosswhite told the station.

Crosswhite said he's received some pushback against the promotion but that support among customers outweighs any resistance, according to the report.
In February, a Virginia Beach pizza shop owner said he would give gun owners a 15 percent discount in a show of support for gun rights.
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
