A 5-year-old Utah boy called 911 after he discovered his neighbor had been stabbed to death Saturday, police said.
Belinda Thomas, 46, was found dead inside her trailer home in West Valley City about 6:30 p.m. Saturday after the boy came to the home immediately after the fatal stabbing occurred, FOX13 reported. The boy was with Thomas’ 5-year-old son, who said his mother was injured.
“That child and Thomas’ five-year-old son were together as that 911 call was made,” police said. “The child who called 911 then notified his own parent who went to Thomas’ home, verified that an incident had occurred and then also called 911.”
