Terror in Texas?

An art exhibit became a scene of violence yesterday in Dallas. A provocative contest to depict the prophet Muhammad drew people in a show of free speech, but two armed gunmen attacked the event shooting an unarmed security guard. They were then shot and killed by police. Police say the men drove up to the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland as the contest was about to end. A bomb squad called in as well after reports of a device inside the car. We’ve got Fox team coverage.

The curfew was lifted in Baltimore, but a state of emergency remains in effect for the next two days. Things are beginning to return to normal after riots and looting last week.

Three more Republicans are expected to officially enter the race for the White House this week.

Today Carly Fiorina, the former head of Hewlett Packard, holds a news conference after her oficial annoncement at 10am.

Neurosurgeon and political activist Ben Carson makes his “official” announcement today in Detroit, but the candidate apparently accidentally made it official in an interview with a television station last night.

We’re also expecting an official announcement this week from former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee this week.

President Obama defended the Clinton Foundation on NBC News this morning saying he’d continue to give paid speeches despite the recent controversy. He said, “I gotta pay our bills.” He said the Foundation has never done anything knowingly inappropriate.

Secretary of State John Kerry is in Kenya today pledging U.S. help in fighting terror there.

He heads to Riyadh later this week, and then on to Paris.
