A 25-year-old woman is reportedly doing OK after she jumped out of the trunk of a car at a Birmingham gas station after she was kidnapped.

The woman told the owner of the gas station on Bessemer Road that she was kidnapped at 4th Avenue and 38th Street in Avondale late Tuesday night. She says the man took her money, wallet and phone and drove her to several ATMs and took her money.

Surveillance video from the gas station shows a black Nissan Altima pulling up and a man going into the store to use the ATM. He asked the clerk for help and eventually leaves. As he pulled off, the woman jumps out of the trunk of the car and runs into the store for help.
