Southwest Airlines flight diverted to Okla. City

A Southwest Airlines flight from St. Louis to Phoenix was diverted to Oklahoma City after the pilot reported fumes inside the aircraft's cockpit.

Will Rogers World Airport spokeswoman Karen Carney says none of the 45 people on board are injured in the incident Thursday morning.

Carney says flight 2805 was inspected by airport officials who determined the plane to be safe and cleared it to continue on to Phoenix. She says the aircraft left Oklahoma City about 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Carney says officials did not determine the source of the fumes.

Southwest Airlines did not immediately return phone calls to The Associated Press seeking comment.
