Kansas City police and the FBI are looking for a suspected female bank robber who wore an Air Force physical training (PT) uniform when she allegedly struck two banks less than 10 miles apart on Monday.
Police said the suspect, a heavy-set woman in a winter-style skull cap, dark sunglasses, black gloves, and carrying a black bag, stole an undisclosed amount of money from a Capitol Federal Savings branch at Price Chopper, according to a report by Fox4KC News in Kansas City.
The woman handed the bank teller a note demanding the money, then fled -- possibly in a blue, four-door Nissan Altima, the station reports.

At about 12:08 pm - roughly a half hour after the first robbery - a woman fitting the same description fled empty handed after passing a robbery note to a teller at a Community America Bank branch inside a Hyvee market.
No one was injured at either location.
Beyond the suspect wearing the Air Force PT uniform, there is no evidence she served in the Air Force.
