Relatives of man fatally shot by police at Wal-Mart in Ohio seek store video from shooting
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Family members of a man fatally shot by police at a southwestern Ohio Wal-Mart believe store video will provide answers about what happened that day and vindicate him.
The family's attorney and the father of 22-year-old John Crawford III said Monday that they have requested surveillance video and communications between police and store security from Aug. 5.
Crawford was shot that day at the store in the Dayton suburb of Beavercreek. Police say he did not drop an air rifle when officers told him to do so.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Crawford's father, John Crawford Jr., says he doesn't doubt his son will be vindicated once the facts are known.
The family also is asking the community to withhold judgment until the investigation is completed.
