Rainy weather forecast for mid-Atlantic, Northeast

Strong-to-severe thunderstorms will be possible for the Gulf Coast, southern Plains

A cloudy wet day is forecast for the mid-Atlantic and Northeast as an area of low pressure moves over the East Coast.
