Police: Woman working as lifeguard raped at pool
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Police say a woman working as a lifeguard was abducted and raped at a pool in Alexandria, Virginia.
WUSA-TV (http://on.wusa9.com/2bUrVNH ) reports that police say the assault happened Saturday just after 2 p.m.
Police say the 24-year-old woman was working at the pool when an unknown man approached her. She told police no one else was at the pool at the time.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}She called police to say she had been abducted and raped and that the man was armed with a firearm. Police say that when the woman called for help the suspect fled.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
The medical condition of the woman was not immediately known.
