Police just outside Atlanta say the deaths of a young couple found shot in their car weren't random, but officials haven't said who killed them.

Powder Springs police Chief Deputy Matt Boyd tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://on-ajc.com/1MWn4ZC ) that Anthony and Catherine Costner of Lithia Springs were found shot in their Pontiac Grand Am early Thursday morning.

Boyd says their 3-year-old daughter was also in the car, uninjured. She was released to relatives.

Boyd says the public isn't in imminent danger as the shooting was not random. No arrest had been made by Friday afternoon.

Officers responding to a reported a single-vehicle accident found 24-year-old Anthony Costner dead in the car with multiple gunshot wounds. His 22-year-old wife had at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
