Authorities say two people face murder charges in the shooting death of a Northern California man during a road rage incident that prompted one officer to raise more than $104,000 to help support the victim's family.
Police say 23-year-old Daniel Alejandro Reyes and 17-year-old Fidadelfo Silva Ortiz, both of San Jose, were arrested separately late last month in the slaying of 37-year-old Phuoc Hong Long Lam.
Police say Lam and the suspects got into a near-collision May 6 in San Jose. When Lam got out of his car to speak to the other driver, the suspects allegedly shot him and sped off.

The incident led San Jose police officer Huan Nguyen to help Lam's family by creating a website to collect donations.
