Police: 2 officers, suspect wounded after shooting in Troy

Authorities say two Troy police officers have been shot and wounded while responding to a call.

The Times Union of Albany reports it happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Capt. Dan DeWolf told the newspaper the two officers were responding to a call in the city's Lansingburgh neighborhood when the shooting occurred.

A third person, who police described as a suspect, was also shot.

Police did not provide any additional information about the incident.

DeWolf said the officers are in stable condition and are "doing OK."

The injured officers were taken to Albany Medical Center. A hospital spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
