Pilot who crashed OK after night in Lake Huron

Authorities say a man whose plane crashed in Lake Huron off Michigan has been rescued after a night in the water and is in good condition.
The U.S. Coast Guard says the pilot of the two-seat Cessna was rescued by people in a fishing boat Wednesday morning.
The man was taken to Harbor Beach in eastern Michigan region and then transported to a local hospital, 125 miles northeast of Detroit.

Harbor Beach Police Chief Sid Schock says the man was talking as he was put into an ambulance. Schock and the Coast Guard did not immediately know how he stayed afloat after the plane crashed Tuesday. The man's name was not released.
The plane taken off from Gouverneur (goo-vur-NOOR'), N.Y., and was heading for Eau Claire, Wis.
