None of the students' names have been released.
The two wounded teens were transported from AMIKids Infinity Chicago to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where one of the students later died, the Cook County medical examiner's office told the paper.
AMIKids Infinity Chicago is an alternative school that instructs students between the ages of 14 and 18, and provides "services for kids that have been expelled or (have been) long-term suspended from CPS (Chicago Public Schools)," Sherri Ulleg, a spokeswoman for Tampa, Fla.-based AMIKids Inc told the Tribune.
