Officers in riot gear respond to large disturbance at Milwaukee park

Authorities in Milwaukee responded to a call at a park dressed in riot gear Wednesday night after a group of juveniles were causing a large disturbance.

Police said a group of juveniles were breaking windows and throwing rocks at officers near Sherman Park. Officers from several Milwaukee districts and the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, according to Fox 6 Now.

A witness told TMJ4 that around 100 kids were in a standoff with police at around 11:15 p.m.

Some arrests have been made. No injuries have been reported.

Officers said Tuesday someone broke the windshield of a patrol car and lit a garbage can on fire, according to TMJ4. Four arrests were made in that incident.
