New Jersey man accused of throwing firecrackers outside synagogue while shouting about Allah

Police say a New Jersey man set off firecrackers outside a Passaic synagogue while shouting "Allahu akbar."

A witness told police a car pulled in front of Ahavas Israel Synagogue on Saturday night, a man got out and lit the firecrackers while yelling the Arabic phrase for "God is great."

Detective Andy White tells The Record (http://bit.ly/1GZSDhI ) newspaper that police found the car and a bag of firecrackers in the trunk.

Police say 21-year-old Rizek Musheisen was charged with bias intimidation, possession of fireworks, harassment and criminal mischief.
