A 16-year-old who went missing last Thursday and promoted a massive community search in south-central Pennsylvania was found safe.
West Manheim Township Police said on Facebook that Madison Krumrine, who had been missing since March 23, was found Tuesday. No further details were available and an official release would follow at a later time.
Krumrine was last seen at about 8:30 p.m. and police said they believe she left her home voluntarily. She did not show up for classes at South Western Senior High School and her cell phone was found at home.

Krumrine's disappearance prompted a massive search over the weekend as hundreds of volunteers scoured the woods, roads and properties near her home.
A Facebook page set up by Krumrine's family thanked the people who helped search for the teen.
“We are so relived and gave no words besides thank you to the community and the law enforcement agencies for finding our girl,” the post said.
