Minneapolis-St. Paul airport police reportedly shoot suspicious person
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport police officer reportedly shot a suspicious person in the Hertz rental car area Saturday night.
Chris Hogan, a police spokesman, told the Minneapolis Star-Tribune that airport police received a call about two suspicious people in the rental car area on the Level 2 parking ramp at Terminal 1.
When police approached the individuals, they were uncooperative. A vehicle then was driven intentionally at the officers, who responded with gunfire, KARE 11 reports.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}An adult male driver was shot and taken to an area hospital, while another officer suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police have not released further details.
