Man asks for images of family he allegedly killed

Published January 08, 2015

Associated Press

In letters from jail, a central Florida man accused of killing his wife and her two children writes about sending three boxes to Texas and asks his mother-in-law for pictures of the missing family.

The State Attorney's Office released Luis Toledo's letters to The Daytona Beach News-Journal.

The bodies of Yessenia Suarez and her children, Thalia and Michael Otto, have never been found. They've been missing since Oct. 23. Toledo is being held at the Volusia County jail on charges of second-degree murder in the death of his wife and first-degree murder in the deaths of the children.

In one letter, Toledo writes cryptically about three boxes sent to Texas, one large and two small. In another letter, he asks Suarez's mother for pictures of Suarez and the children.
