Man accused of assaulting women while driving for Uber, Lyft

Police in the San Diego County city of Escondido have arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of sexually assaulting several women while working as a driver for Uber and Lyft.

Lt. Justin Murphy said Wednesday that Jeremy Vague of San Marcos was taken into custody Sept. 16.

Murphy says investigators believe there may be additional victims. Police plan an afternoon press conference to discuss the case.

A phone listing for Vague could not be found. It wasn't immediately known if he has an attorney.
