The Maine fire marshal's office says no working smoke detectors were found in a home where a woman and two children died in a fire.

Authorities identified the victims Tuesday as 34-year-old Maiysha Somers-Jones, 10-year-old Isis Doe and her 8-year-old brother Zebulon Doe. The woman was the girlfriend of the children's father, who wasn't home at the time of the fire.

Firefighters were called to the Old Town home around 10:15 p.m. Monday. When crews arrived, they learned that people were trapped inside.

Firefighters removed the children from an upstairs bedroom, but they could not be resuscitated. Somers-Jones' body was found in a first-floor bedroom.

Autopsies are planned.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
