Louisiana woman dies after intentionally walking in front of packed school bus

Houma police say a 54-year-old woman died after intentionally walking in front of a school bus.
Police say the woman was pronounced dead at University Hospital in New Orleans at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. She was initially treated at Terrebonne General Medical Center.
The Courier reports the Terrebonne Parish school bus was bringing a load of students home from Houma Junior High and Terrebonne High schools around 2:30 p.m. when the woman walked into the bus' path.

School officials say the students and the bus driver were not hurt.
Police said the incident is being considered a suicide.
