Attorneys in North Carolina are scheduled to meet with a judge to discuss the case of a man accused of killing a Muslim couple and one of their relatives.

Attorneys representing the prosecution and the defense are scheduled to go over pretrial case management for Craig Hicks on Friday before a judge in Durham.

Hicks is charged with murder in the 2015 deaths of Deah Barakat; his wife, Yusor Abu-Salha; and her sister, Razan Abu-Salha. The couple was neighbors of the defendant, who was known for arguing over parking spots at a Chapel Hill apartment complex and also making Facebook posts disdaining all religions.

No trial date has been set.

The victims' families have sought to keep their memories alive by continuing philanthropy work they started, including a dental clinic for Syrian refugees.
