Lawyer: Jerry Sandusky still says he's not guilty

As Jerry Sandusky insists he is not guilty of sexually abusing children, a juror who voted to convict the retired Penn State assistant coach hopes the verdict helps his accusers heal.

Ann Van Kuren said Monday that the jury found the testimony of the eight victims who took the witness stand compelling. She says jurors weighed the accounts and evidence diligently before finding Sandusky guilty Friday of 45 counts for sexually abusing 10 boys over many years.

Van Kuren says she feels for the victims and any others who haven't come forward.

The 68-year-old Sandusky is under observation at the Centre County jail. A psychological review is pending to help determine the next step toward his sentencing in three months.
