A digital ISIS propaganda magazine published an article earlier this month urging supporters to burn down Dallas’ First Baptist church, The Dallas Morning News reported Thursday.
Rumiyah, the magazine, reportedly called the church “a popular Crusader gathering place waiting to be burned down.” There is no sign of an immediate threat but the report is being taken seriously.
“The Bible tells us the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear. If we surrender to fear, ISIS wins. We will continue doing what the lord has called us to do,” the church said in a statement to NBC 5.

The church is described as a 12,000-member mega-church in downtown. The church has been in touch with local law enforcement and the FBI, the report said.
