Interstate 290 shut down in Massachusetts after massive pileup
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Interstate 290 westbound in Worcester has been closed due to multiple car crashes caused by icy road conditions.
The Telegram reports that about 50 vehicles, including three tractor-trailers, were involved in a pileup.
A section of Route 9 also has been closed and accidents have been reported on Route 146.
