Georgia TSA Worker Accused of Kidnapping Woman From Airport, Sexual Assault
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Authorities say they are investigating a report that a woman was kidnapped by a Transportation Security Administration worker in Atlanta and sexually assaulted at his west Georgia home.
Hogansville police officials say the woman told authorities that Randall Scott King kidnapped her from a MARTA station in south Atlanta Nov. 17 and drove her about 55 miles to his home in Hogansville. Police say the woman reported that King released her early Nov. 18 and gave her a suicide note to deliver to authorities.
Authorities found King in his home with wounds on several parts of his body. He is in critical condition at Columbus Medical Center.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Hogansville police have issued a warrant for King's arrest. MARTA spokesman Lyle V. Harris said the transit authority is helping with the investigation.
TSA spokesman Jon Allen said King remains an employee and declined further comment. Authorities believe King and the woman know each other.
