A jury has convicted a 24-year-old metro Atlanta woman of causing a collision that killed five people on Easter Sunday 2009 and then fleeing the scene.
Aimee Michael was convicted Monday of vehicular homicide, hit-and-run, tampering with evidence and other charges.
Prosecutors say she fled the scene after she lost control of the BMW she was driving and triggered the April 2009 chain-reaction wreck. Authorities said she concealed the damage to her car and her role in the incident.

The wreck killed a family of four in one car and a 6-year-old girl in another.
Michael's defense attorneys conceded that she fled the scene of the accident, but said she shouldn't face vehicular homicide charges because she didn't cause the wreck.
