Florida man breaks into home and enters young girl’s room, police say
The suspect has been identified and arrested
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A creep broke into a Florida home this week, apparently started to take off his shorts — and then traipsed into a young girl’s bedroom, according to disturbing new video and local police.
The intruder, described as between 40 and 60 years old, entered the home on Flora Avenue in Holiday between 12:50 and 1:07 a.m. Thursday, the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook.
Security camera video released by the sheriff’s office shows the man walking into the young victim’s bedroom. Her age was not specified.

He then exits and appears to undo his shorts, cops said — though the bottom of the clip is cut off. A moment later, he wanders back into the room, the footage shows.
The homeowners woke up when their dog started barking, police said.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}"I turned and saw my daughter’s door open and I was like, no, no, no, her room is never open," the girl’s mother, Jacqueline Eisinga, told WFLA.
Eisinga screamed, prompting the stranger to take off, she told the outlet.
"The person literally ran," Eisinga said. "Like, I watched him run right past."

Eisinga’s husband, Daniel Roles, was jolted awake.
"So, I got woken up to my wife screaming my daughter’s name," Roles told the outlet. "Somebody was in our house."

"I went and saw my garage door was open, my side door was broken and my gate was open," Roles said. "I just walked around my house and I didn’t see anybody out. I came back in and I called 911."

{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The sheriff’s office confirmed in the Facebook post that the suspect had been arrested, but did not identify him.
Roles — who watched the security video — said he knew the incident could have turned out far worse.
"It gives me the goosebumps, man," he told the outlet. "It’s supposed to be a safe place, and this guy is in my house snooping around my kids and family."
