Florida Landlord Allegedly Rented Home to Six Sexual Predators

Orlando authorities were investigating claims Saturday that a landlord illegally rented out a single home to six tenants -- each of them registered sex predators.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement's (FDLE) online registry of sexual offenders and predators shows six registered predators living at the home, WFTV reported.

Orange County, Fla., zoning laws prohibit more than four people who are not related to one another from living in the same dwelling.

The six people all reportedly moved into the property last month, WFTV said. The homeowner who rented the home could be fined for violating county zoning laws.

Neighbor Saprina Pollard told the station that six predators in one home is "too many," adding, "I hate the fact they're here anyway."

Peter Washington, one of the registered predators living at the property, said there were only five people living in the home despite what the FDLE's registry shows.

"We're just normal people who made a mistake," Washington said. "Everyone has skeletons in your closet."
