ASHLAND, Ore. – A fire official says a wildfire in southern Oregon has destroyed 11 homes and damaged two others.
Ashland Fire Marshal Margueritte Hickman says no injuries have been reported in Tuesday's blaze in the city's Oak Knoll neighborhood.
Residents of four streets in the area have been evacuated, and a shelter is being set up.
Another fire reported Tuesday on the other side of Interstate 5 from Oak Knoll burned a barn and a trailer. Hickman says the trailer was believed to be vacant.
