An eastern Pennsylvania castle built in 1821 has been gutted by fire.
The Rocky Hill Castle in Chadds Ford Township was reported on fire about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Firefighters had difficulty getting water to the castle, which is built on a hill in a wooded area of the township about 25 miles southwest of Philadelphia.
The castle's current owners bought it in 1957.
The home was listed for sale recently for $647,000 and was said to need renovations.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Fire crews were working to determine what caused the fire.
