Texas computer technology teacher who had multiple sexual encounters with several male students was sentenced in September 2013 to four years’ probation after pleading guilty to two counts of an improper relationship between an educator and a student. Former Pennsylvania teacher who resigned from her job at a Christian school, then had a months-long sexual relationship with a 15-year-old former male student, was sentenced in August 2013 to 11-and-a-half to 23 months in prison on a felony charge of corruption of minors. Vermont Spanish teacher pleaded guilty in September 2013 on four misdemeanor counts of sexual exploitation for her behavior with an underage male. As part of a plea deal with prosecutors, Yaranga received a suspended sentence of one to four years, avoiding jail time as long as she obeys the terms of her four-year probation, which includes sex <b></b>offender therapy and no intentional contact with male minors. North Carolina dance teacher formed a friendship with a female student and it later evolved into a sexual relationship. White pleaded guilty in September 2016 to a sex act with a student, two counts of indecent liberties with student, indecent liberties with a child and second-degree kidnapping. She was sentenced to 45 months to 123 months in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender.  (Durham Police)

Florida teacher pleaded guilty in 2005 to two counts of lewd and lascivious battery for having sex with a 14-year old boy. As part of the deal, Lafave was sentenced to three years house arrest and seven years' probation.  (AP)

Letourneau pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree child rape against a 12-year-old male. She became pregnant and gave birth that year. Letourneau was released in 1998, but was again caught having sex with the boy. She was impregnated again, and this time was sentenced to more than seven years in prison for violating her probation.
