ATTICA, Ohio (AP) — A school outing to an amusement park in Ohio turned into a thrill ride itself after the driver of the kids' charter bus drove into a ditch and was charged with drunken driving.
No one was seriously hurt in the Friday morning crash. State troopers in northern Ohio say a few of the 12 students suffered bumps and bruises.
The bus driver was charged with child endangering, driving under the influence and operating a commercial vehicle without a license.

The students from the Columbus suburb of Hilliard were on their way to the 140-year-old Cedar Point amusement park, which bills itself as the second-oldest amusement park in North America.
About 30 miles from the park, the bus veered off the road. The students got on other buses to finish the trip to the amusement park.
