A person of interest has been arrested after a disturbing video showed the moment he sucker-punched a grandfather pushing a stroller containing his infant grandchild in an apparent random attack in broad daylight in California.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Angel Sanchez Jr. of Santa Barbara, was arrested Tuesday afternoon in connection with two unprovoked attacks, both against members of the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community.
The video showed Sanchez Jr. crossing the street towards the man pushing the stroller before he punches the victim squarely in the face with a left hook. The victim is then seen falling to the ground as the stroller is knocked over, leaving the infant visibly in distress.
